Port: (left side)If a power-driven vessel approaches within this sector, maintain your course and speed with caution.

Starboard: (right side) If any vessel approaches within this sector, keep out of its way. Note: does not apply if one or both are sailboats.

Stern: (rear end) If any vessel approaches from this sector, maintain your course and speed with caution.
