MBYC – Fueling at the Gas Dock

Sometimes we are in a rush and fueling up protocol is neglected

•  Check with the staff

Find out sequence if someone is waiting ahead of you and get order of fill.

Call in 506-773-9949 to Marina if coming from out side Marina with your intent to fuel up

Check for boaters putting their boats in the water in gas dock area

Go slow …no waking in the marina

Make sure to tie your boat up secure at the dock

Have credit card or cash on hand to pay

Turn ignition off while fueling.

Nobody on the boat while you are filling

Absolutely No Smoking and turn off portable gas heating devices

Guests should stand clear of fueling area

Help staff with hose

Have tool on hand to open cap if needed

Safety

 Know where a proper fire extinguisher is hanging

                     Check for position of safety ring if needed

Get in good position to handle hose..Takes awhile sometime!

Try not to overfill …listen for filling up indication

Tighten gas cap when complete and inform staff you are leaving

Be patient and courteous to our staff. They are there to help but sometimes they are very busy.
